A walk along the River Avon from Stratford-upon-Avon
With it's links to William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon can be very busy with tourist crowds, but you don't have to walk too far along the River Avon to find a peaceful spot to watch the world go by.
If you enjoy feeding the ducks, this is discouraged around the marina where the most people congregate, but if you're prepared to walk along the river out of town, there are no signs discouraging you - but it's still important to feed those wild ducks responsibly and definitely don't offer bread to ducks.
