The snow capped mountains near Dolgellau, Wales
A favourite escape for fresh air and breathtakingly amazing scenery is a holiday cottage just outside of Dolgellau. That's the perfect base for a walk, such as the Torrent Walk, which we usually couple with a visit to the Cross Foxes for lunch, or just a hot chocolate sat outside admiring the snowy hills and mountains.
A visit to the area isn't however complete for us until we've visited the Honey Ice Cream factory located just outside nearby Tywyn.
